Racing Beat Sway Bar Block Kit for 90-05 Miata (No Brace)

Sway Bar Brace Kit - Mount Reinforcement

In various racing classes (Autocross - Stock and C-Street Prepared) the use of the actual Racing Beat Sway Bar Brace component is not allowed.

However, the use of the brace kit hardware components that add bracing to the stock sway bar pedestal mounts are allowed. (We suggest you refer to your specific class regulations for current rules.) This combination of extended sway bar mounting bolts and aluminum distribution blocks are used to pre-load the stock sway bar mounts, offering critical reinforcement to the mounts while providing an inexpensive form of insurance against possible breakage of these hard-to-replace mounts.

For 1990-95 Miata's equipped with power steering we include modified supporting blocks with a channel for the power steering line (See photo on the left) and mounting bolts that have been specifically designed for this application. (In reality, this block can be used on either version - with or without power steering.)

The use of the brace is not allowed in the Stock or C-Street Prepared classes. However, the use of these support blocks and retaining bolts are ALLOWED.

NOTE: If your 1990-95 Miata is equipped with power steering, the routing of the rigid power steering lines require the modified support block to provide adequate clearance for these lines on this application. These hardware kits can be used on the Mazdaspeed turbo model as well.
