Our Ultra Shield TDR Rally Sport Seat is custom-made for TDR to fit the Miata, with better clearance for the roll bar and doors. The Rally Sport seat features a "Shoulder Wrap" design with short rib and thigh supports to make getting in and out easier.

Constructed from .125" 5052 grade aluminum with hardened aluminum extrusion welded around the perimeter of the seat and seat belt holes. The standard 10 degree layback provides better thigh support. Price includes a solid black seat cover with embroidered Track Dog Racing logo in the head rest. Other color options available.

FITMENT NOTE: The left (U.S. driver's) side of the Miata is only large enough to fit a 14" - 17" seat. You can fit up to an 18" on the right (U.S. passenger) side.

NOTE:
The TDR Rally Sport seat on our TDR Seat Rail is about 2 in. lower than stock. The Driver's side "LOW" provides an additional ¾ in. of head room but it requires removal of the rear seat mounts and prevents swapping back to the stock seat.
We been asked what the weight saving are when switching to our seat. An NA cloth seat weighs over 29lbs.

How to measure seat size:
Sit on a bench with legs in driving position. Place a hard back book on each hip and measure the distance between each book. At a 1/2” round down. For example, 16-1/2” measurement would be a 16. 16-3/4” would be a 17. We recommend a 16 for passenger seat unless you are going to have a larger passenger on a regular basis or you're a 17.
A rough guide is also based on waist size. The following chart can be used as a rough guideline but measure as mentioned above to confirm.

Amazing seat!

This seat is well made and well designed, I ended up getting the 17” variant, for my street and track driven NB1. The 17 inch requires a bit of easy bending on the wings to fit but I know that every size below it shouldn’t. I would definitely recommend the back brace even if you are just getting it for the street. The base plate of the seat can flex back slightly while driving but it’s solved by the back brace. The customer support and recommendation for installation was fantastic as well!
