SPEC Performance Clutches

Specifically tailored for your modified Miata! All clutches come complete with Pressure Plate, Clutch Disc, Throw Out Bearing, Pilot Bearing and Clutch Alignment Tool. We carry five stages depending on your torque requirements:

For extra savings consider the TDR Dog Pack complete with clutch, flywheel and stainless clutch line.

TDR recommends the Stage 2+ clutch for high performance street and track use and or with forced induction for most applications. SPEC clutch provides low pressure clutch engagement compared to ACT clutches making daily street driving much easier on the leg! For engines beyond the Stage 2+ level (270-300 ft. lbs. of torque) we can special order a SPEC Clutch that will meet your needs.

We also offer a lightened or aluminum pressure plate option that will reduce up to 3 pounds from the clutch flywheel assembly.

We recommend the following enhancements during your installation. First, upgrade to the SS braided clutch line for a more linear engagement. Second, order the TDR transmission seal and gasket kit and both shift boots. (These items usually need to be replaced during a clutch job.) Finally, TDR recommends that you use Motul,  Red Line MTL or Red Line MT-90 (2 quarts) for the gear box and Motul or Redline 75W90 High Performance Gear Oil (1 quart) for the differential.
