This fully 304 stainless-steel high-flow Miata race pipe replaces the factory catalytic converter for off-highway rack use only. Intended for 1990-93 Miatas, this connecting pipe will meet the demands of any high horsepower normally-aspirated or aftermarket turbo-charged engine.

Manufactured from 2.375" OD stainless steel tubing, this connecting pipe includes 2 cast stainless steel Racing Beat flanges. Designed as a bolt-on component, this Miata race connecting pipe is a direct replacement for the factory catalytic converter. 

This Miata race pipe has no provision for a rear oxygen sensor mounting position, since the placement of the rear oxygen sensor in this race pipe would trigger a "check engine" light. This product is intended for race vehicles, and it is assumed that all emissions control devices will be removed from the vehicle. If class rules require emission control devices be retained, we suggest relocating the rear oxygen sensor to an open area in the engine compartment. (See below for more details.)
