Stainless Braided Clutch Line
1990-2015 Miata MX-5

Our high performance stainless braided clutch line offers superior performance, longer life and better pedal feel since OEM rubber lines expand. Utilizing Teflon tubing with a stainless steel outer tube with vinyl sleeve for abrasion protection. If you have over 30K miles you need to inspect your shifter boots for tears. The smaller boot mounts to the transmission to seal the oil around the shifter. The larger boot keeps sound and dirt from entering through the transmission tunnel. You can do a simple visual by removing the console and inspect for wear and tear.
NOTE: Our new improved clutch line also replaces the cumbersome coiled section by the slave cylinder.
A note on the extra long clutch lines
Occasionally we have people ask us about the extra long clutch lines on the market that connect from the clutch master to the clutch slave. We don't see a problem with the current solution. Our clutch line utilizes the fixed hard line along the firewall. The extra long clutch lines eliminate this hard line and runs over the transmission which could cause the line to rub and wear out over time.
